FLUX:one - “Crime & Punishment”
Ladies & Gentlemen, boys & girls, dogs & cats, George Michael & public toilets, it is now time for the first FLUX podcast. It is just over 10 minutes long, and you can listen using the convenient online player below, or you can download from the almost as convenient download links below that.
A couple of things to note, firstly unlike the North South Divide, this is more adult in content with some sweary mary’s in it. Cover the little un’s ears, or better still listen when they aren’t about. Next the music, it is released under a creative commons license and it is available from http://www.jamendo.com/en/album/19211 It is a lovely line in French boppy electro pop by Florent Lelong. Please go and listen to the rest of the album, it is very nice indeed.

Thank you for listening, comments are as always encouraged. How can I make it more the way that you want if i don’t know? If you have any suggestions for topics or ideas for future FLUX podcasts please let me know.

My mission statement. (Shudder, I hate that phrase even as a joke.)
Hello, this is Flux, and my name is Trevor Ship. You may have heard me in the North South Divide a project that I make with James Hart. This is something entirely different, a solo work and much shorter. The simple idea of this podcast is to be a vehicle for my comedy. It will be quite different to the NSD, and it will be different formats each time. Sometimes almost stand up, or a character piece, poem (unlikely to say the least) or whatever takes my fancy at the time.
I will, of course try and make it funny.
I would like to involve you dear listeners in this too, if you have any subjects that you want me to cover, ideas or just plain old fashioned opinions please share them with me using the contact means provided.
Comedy is subjective and what one person thinks is hysterically funny, the next may think it is historically bad. Such is the way of things, if you find that you do not like my work, please move on and thanks for listening.
If you do like it, on the other hand, pleased to make your acquaitance. Sit down, strap yourself in and always keep your hands inside the podcast. This could be a bumpy ride.
I am currently working on the first one, should be along fairly soon, but as it is new there is a lot that I need to do.
Thanks,
Trev
