Well, I got a letter from the Driving Standards Agency the other day about my interview. I got the job, woo hoo!
But, there are no jobs, not one, not in the whole country. So I have spent over 3 months doing work and preparation for the tests and the interview, to be told that I have reached the standard that they wanted, but tough. That means that I have to wait for another examiner to die.* Hmm, how peculiar, they advertised and recruited for jobs that they simply don’t have. Gah.
Anyway, I was at the ZOMG bash at Hebden Bridge for Druid’s birthday, I didn’t take my camera as I knew there would be loads of other people with cameras there.

Hello everybody, I haven’t updated this in a while as I have been very busy. Last weekend I went down to Luton, (home of culture, beautiful architecture and well closed roads) to james’ and Beth’s. While there james and I made a tune, oh yes we did. It is called bad poetry, and you can download it here.
When I get chance I am going to get the components of it from james and do a Men in White Coats remix, I have some ideas for that.
After that I have been spending the last few days preparing for my interview to become a driving examiner, which I had yesterday. I think that it went quite well, I will of course let you know whether I got it or not. *Crosses fingers*

Eeeh, busy couple of weeks for me now. I am off down to the lovely james & Beth’s at the weekend with the girls, so that should be fun.
Then next Tuesday I have my interview for the examiners job and I am really not looking forward to it. I have already done a theory test and a driving test to get this far, but I knew that I could do them, I haven’t had an interview in years. Eeek!
After that it is Druid’s bash the weekend after, which I am sort of looking forward to, could be odd, what with everything that has happened. As long as I don’t have to start refereeing a fight.
Anyway, it is late, sorry that this isn’t interesting stuff, but it can’t all be great can it? With light you have to have shade to show it at it’s best. There will be NSD news soon I feel, and I am sure that I will be doing an FTL show again soon.

And after a busy week, I have finally edited and uploaded the audio from last weeks bash. Firstly let me apologise by saying that I don’t have Rich’s shows as he uses a different encoder (Winamp DSP plugin facts fans) to the rest of us and I forgot that it doesn’t record the stream. Sorry mate.
Anyway, I have edited out the starts and finishes and encoded at a lower bitrate, so they are smaller to download, other than that they are as the day that they were made, all of the cock ups are left in.
They are in 22khz so not as good as broadcast quality, but it makes them more manageable. If you really like I still have the originals too. Just remember that there is some swearing in there folks, so cover the little ‘uns (and Van’s) ears.
